
The Jnanavikas Institute of Technology has planned an 8-day induction program for first-year B.E. students from 23rd September to 1st October 2024. The schedule includes a mix of academic orientation, departmental introductions, skill development, and extracurricular activities.
Day 1 begins with an inauguration, orientation to CSE and ECE departments, followed by a session on the Civil Department.
Day 2 covers topics like scrap and reuse, career opportunities, and a web development introduction.
Day 3 includes CBCS rules, universal human values, and a session on engineering’s past, present, and future.
Day 4 focuses on communicative English skills and design thinking for engineers.
Day 5 continues communicative English and introduces communication barriers.
Day 6 features physical activities at the JVIT ground.
Day 7 holds a grand inauguration followed by guidance from senior students.
Day 8 concludes with activities, feedback, and validation of the bridge course.
Sessions are delivered by department heads, professors, and invited experts. The program blends academic preparation, professional skills, creativity, and wellness activities, aiming to familiarize students with their courses, campus, and career paths while fostering communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
