JVIT’s Training & Placement Department conducts in-house training from qualified & certified HR Trainers, both in communication and aptitude. This results in students getting groomed from the day the candidate joins JVIT. The Training & Placement cell of our institution plays a pivotal role in counselling and guiding the students for their successful career placement, which is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academic program of the students and their entry into the suitable employment.
In addition to campus placements, the Training & Placement cell organizes Career Development Programs like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions(GDs), Pre-Placement talks , Interactive sessions with industry experts, case studies and Personality Development programs covering communication skills, presentation skills, career planning etc., on a regular basis to enable the students to acquire the necessary skill sets to become employable in industries.
We conducted JOB FAIRS in the college campus,(2015,2016) in which many software, manufacturing, Banking ,Insurance and other high profile companies participated. Every time around 2000 candidates participate in the fair.
We have BE (CSE/ISE, ECE, MECH & CIVIL) branches and MBA with a good strength of students. Apart from that, there is a strong database of students from the nearby Engineering colleges whom we can pool into the event.

The program includes activities like team building, analyticalskills, personality development to make the student industry ready.
Mock interview is an important exercise for a student to face any real interview. We call experts from various industries and companies and with the help of MBA department the mock interview will be conducted to each student .The critical evaluation will be done and try to bring up the areas in which the student is lagging. The periodical training programs ,workshops and mock interviews are in the pipe line .The companies like WAGMINES, DELL, JETKING, HIREME, ASPIRING MINDS AND NIIT make periodical visits to conduct analytical ability tests.
ECIP (English Communication Improvement Program)
To improve effectiveness of English language we conduct ECIP program where each student gets an opportunity to address their group ( 4students in a group),In English and gain confidence.
Technical classes will be conducted by our experts in pre final year and make students to understand better the recent technologies. Also they discuss the questions probably asked in the interviews for technical rounds. So the students will be more confident in area of their streams
The training will be formulated to improve student’s skill likeTeam Building, Logical Reasoning, Deciphering the Matrix, Quantitative aptitude, Verbal Reasoning ,Group Discussion and Public speaking
We have certified psychological counsellor who periodically fix up time to talk to students who scoreless marks and those who are frequent absentees,the students problems will be addressed keeping in mind confidentiality in a separate counselling room made for that purpose the students discuss certain inabilities freely and openly
