About The Department
The Department of Management Studies and Research, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, was established in the year 2009 by Jnanavikas Vidyasangha, with a vision to become best management education institution providing excellent knowledge in global perspective.The MBA programme offered is a 2 year (4 semester) full time master’s degree with an approved intake of 60 students, offering specializations in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing. The MBA programme also provides dual specialization so students have the option of pursing careers in two discrete areas of business administration. Diversification of courses are provided to meet the opportunities that are being continuously instigated by the mega processes of Liberalization, Privatization, Mercerization, Transnationalisation and Globalization. This is intended to bring about the balance between employment opportunities and the employability of management students.
The department is dedicated to have a positive effect on the next generation of business. Our highly qualified faculties apart from providing quality management education, also carry out mentoring process in order to help students know their strengths and to boost their confidence. Industrial tours, guest lectures, communication skill classes are few of the activities conducted by the department. The department has also been organizing national level management fest “Jnanagni”since 2017.
